The Sr. Copywriter is an integral part of Weber’s Global Creative studio, helping to inspire, inform and empower customers to gather, grill and enjoy delicious food and meaningful experiences. The Sr. Copywriter will report to the Group Creative Director, Copy. 


Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Support Global Creative’s vision for creative expression of the Weber brand with particular focus on helping to establish Weber’s brand voice. This includes brand foundation and messaging strategy, as well as creative expression of brand, product, and content marketing campaigns.

  • Contribute and present original, breakthrough creative ideas for a variety of marketing and brand experience touchpoints, including, video, campaign, packaging, point-of-sale, owned retail, etc.  

  • Effectively communicate and collaborate across teams and functions to drive consensus, action, and results-based work.

  • Actively participate in discussions and strategy throughout the creative process, from concept through completion.

  • Think through end-to-end campaign experiences, engaging with digital marketing teams to connect campaigns to content and site experiences.

  • Develop concepts and craft copy for a wide range of digital experiences from landing pages to comprehensive sites, contributing ideas for site/content structures in addition to copy as appropriate.

  • Work cross-functionally to balance the needs of partners and break down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure thoughtful concept development and execution, apply a sense of ownership to both your work that of the team.

  • Advocate for the Weber brand voice and its consistent application to deliver an engaging, informative and satisfying customer experience.

  • Act as a promoter of the Weber Creative Studio and engage in the creative community within and outside of Weber.



  • 6+ years of experience with in-house creative teams or creative agencies.

  • Relevant experience with global brands.

  • Solid brand development track record.

  • Proven ability to generate creative ideas that support strategic objectives and to execute on concepts by crafting copy that is accessible, engaging and empowering.

  • Ability to present and sell-through creative concepts

  • Comfortable with both long- and short-form writing.

  • Exceptional copywriting skills.

  • Experience in brand and product naming.

  • Fluent in different types of marketing campaigns including awareness, lead-gen, and engagement.

  • Critical thinker and effective communicator.

  • Self-starter with attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects. 

  • Strong desire to be part of a diverse team and nurture diverse perspectives.

  • This position is located in the Greater Seattle Area.
