Summary:
The Sr. SAP S4 IT Analyst – Order To Cash (OTC) is responsible for delivering quality solutions to key stakeholders based on business needs. This position will be responsible for working with IT Business partners and users to understand and gather requirements, identify gaps, design, and implement solutions, testing (Integration, UAT and Regression), and training to support initiatives. This position will aslo work closely with other teams to build custom solutions and interfaces to/from S4 including implementing EDI messages. The candidate will maintain effective relationships with the part-time business resources, System Integrator (SI), and other IT resources to leverage their knowledge and expertise to enable improved business processes to drive process optimization and simplification
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and configure the S4 system as per business requirements for OTC business area.
- Analyze and document complex business requirements and perform impact analysis.
- Develop functional specifications for custom S4 development and for interfaces to other applications.
- Develop use cases, test plans, test scripts, and test cases.
- Execute test plans and test scripts/cases to ensure system changes are aligned with business requirements.
- Resolve the help desk requests, including Break Fix, Support Master Data, small enhancements, Reporting and other business requests.
- Perform Root cause analysis and provide solutions.
- Take an active role in changing control processes for testing & implementing system changes, fixes, enhancements, etc.
- Work with EDI team to implement new EDI transactions / Trading partners.
- Work with business partners and Users throughout the process to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
- Lead and assist small to moderate size enhancements and projects.
- Coordinate with S4 and internal IT resources on critical/complex issues.
- Act as a liaison across different IT & business teams utilizing knowledge of roles and responsibilities within the organization.
- Execute best practices for business analysis processes and functions (from an industry and strategic standpoint), including requirements elicitation methods. Knows emerging trends.
- Continually build knowledge and stay abreast of current Supply Chain & SAP functionality, capabilities, and technologies.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience working as an S4/SAP SD Analyst with experience configuring SD module.
- Experience in multi-plant, multi-company, multi-currency, 3rd party distribution, electronic trading (EDI), consumer products, and/or process manufacturing.
- Advanced configuration experience in SAP SD functionality within S4/SAP ECC 6.0.
- Experience with the integration points between SAP's core modules and the inter-dependences around Finance/Controlling, Transport management, Warehouse management, and Manufacturing.
- Core Participation in 3 or more full life cycle SAP implementations, achieving production status.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IS, MIS, or a related field.
- Hands-on configuration skills in the SD and other supply chain areas in S4/SAP
- Experience in interfaces between S4/SAP and other applications, especially EDI
- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA.
- Additional supply chain experience, including WM and MM.
- ABAP, LSMW, and/or IDOC knowledge
- Sound and accurate judgment; excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent planning and organizing skills.
- Strong customer service orientation
- Adept at developing system requirements, designing, and prototyping, testing, training, and implementing business solutions, while achieving deadlines and budget goals

- On-call availability for project go-live and off-shift support
- Flexible schedule to align with other program resources.
- Flexible to travel as needed or deemed necessary (domestic & international)
Salary Range: $148,000-167,000
