This position will be held by an experienced tax professional who is familiar with the taxation of corporations and partnerships and is capable of effectively compiling federal and state corporate and partnership income tax returns. The person will interface with operating and financial personnel providing support regarding the federal, state and international tax consequences of business transactions and financial statement reporting requirements.   The person will also interact with tax consultants contracted to prepare the federal and state corporate and partnership income tax returns.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following while other duties also may be assigned

The duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:

  • Compile information for the company’s federal and state income tax returns
  • Prepare quarterly taxable income projections and partner tax distributions
  • Compile foreign source income and foreign taxes
  • Work with tax consultants to ensure the tax returns are accurately and timely prepared
  • Work with the Financial Reporting, Planning and Treasury Departments to efficiently accumulate and analyze financial information that enables accurate tax reporting and decision making
  • Assist with the company’s federal, state and international income tax accounting
  • Reconcile tax accounts and prepare journal entries
  • Work with various departments assisting them with tax matters 
  • Monitor, interpret and apply tax rules and regulations
  • Leverage software applications enabling the Tax Department to focus on analyzing data rather than gathering it
  • Continually seek opportunities to add value and be aligned with company goals
  • Respond to communications from taxing authorities

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting 
  • CPA, MST and/or JD, preferred
  • 5 years of prior work experience with public accounting firms and multinational companies
  • Income tax compliance experience
  • Competence with Microsoft Office software
  • Experience with SAP or similar accounting software
