SR. SAP S4 IT Analyst- Source to Pay

Summary:

Weber is seeking a candidate with strong S4 MM (Source to Pay business area) functional experience to join our SAP team. The Sr. STP S4 Analyst will be responsible for systems development, configuration, implementation, testing, and training, to support the SAP Source to Pay business initiatives, interfaces to and from other IT and logistics functions within the company as needed. The Analyst will maintain effective relationships with the business users, IT business partners, System Integrator (SI), and other IT resources to leverage their knowledge and expertise to drive process optimization and simplification. This position reports to the Director, IT Applications.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, and other duties may be assigned:

  • Responsible for the maintenance of SAP S4 MM and ARIBA modules, interfaces to and from S4 as well as integration with all other modules of SAP (SD, FI-CO, PP, QM etc.).
  • Work with the business to analyze requirements, design and configure SAP S4 system.
  • Write functional specifications, and work with technical team to guide, test, and deploy system solutions.
  • Develop use cases, test plans, test scripts / test cases.
  • Execute test plans and test scripts/cases to ensure system changes are aligned with business requirements.
  • Resolve the help desk requests, including Break Fix, Support Master Data, small and large enhancements, reporting and other business requests.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide SAP system support when needed.
  • Participate in ongoing technology evaluations and keep up with technology trends and industry standards.
  • Suggest system improvements based on technology, best practices, or changing requirements.
  • Provide regular management updates on advantages and potential opportunities for new technologies and automation.
  • Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions.
  • Take an active role in change control processes for testing & implementing system changes, fixes, enhancements, etc.
  • Work with IT business partners and Business users throughout the process to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
  • Lead and assist small to moderate size enhancements and projects.
  • Train/Mentor junior staff members as appropriate.

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience working as an SAP/S4 MM Analyst with proven hands-on experience in SAP Materials Management (MM) module.
  • Experience in SAP Ariba is preferred.
  • In depth understanding and configuration skills in the SAP system including Purchasing, Warehousing, and Inventory Management, Accounts Payable, Master Data Management (Materials, Routings, BOMs), MRP, and Long-Term Planning along with integration points of all modules and related business processes.
  • Ability to think through processes and best industry practices, as well as have a good understanding of end-to-end processes in other business areas such as “Order to Cash”, “Inventory to Deliver”, and “Produce to Pay”.
  • Core Participation in 3 or more full life cycle SAP implementations, achieving production status.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strategic thinking and sound knowledge of the respective business processes (independent of the system aspect)
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is innovative and quick to learn with a strong customer service orientation.
  • On-call availability for project go-live and off-shift support
  • Flexible schedule to align with other program resources.
  • Flexible to travel as needed or deemed necessary (domestic & international)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, MS Project or similar project management tools is a plus

 

Salary Range: $148,000-167,000

     *This salary range represents Weber's good faith belief of what we reasonably expect to pay the top candidate
