QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (eCommerce Platform) and Java-based Selenium to join our team. This role involves both manual and automated testing for eCommerce web applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with software development teams and business users to ensure seamless integration of customer-facing applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive functional, regression, and performance tests to ensure full test coverage within Salesforce Commerce Cloud (eCommerce Platform).
• Understand Check Out flow
• Identify, document, and track software defects to ensure prompt resolution.
• Perform ADA accessibility testing
• Collaborate with development teams and leadership to understand new features and develop effective test strategies.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using bug tracking tools (Jira)
• Ensure timely resolution of bug fixes.
• Work with Salesforce Business Manager (eCommerce Platform)
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Perform thorough testing of new features and enhancements within Salesforce Commerce Cloud (eCommerce Platform).
• Ability to do manual testing of Weber.com on different devices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (eCommerce Platform)
• ADA testing experience within e-commerce environment
• Proficiency with Java based Selenium testing for automation.
• Experience with eCommerce Platform, Check Out flow and storefront testing.
• Must have programming skills in Java and/or JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Must have experience with Salesforce Business Manager (eCommerce Platform)
• Strong technical experience with Page Designer settings
• Experienced with web service testing and good knowledge of SOAP, WSDL, XML, REST messaging
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality outcomes.

Nice To Have:

• Experience with manual testing of the Salesforce Service Cloud platform and its add on packages/clouds like Order Management System, Field Service, Service Cloud Voice, and Experience Cloud.
• Experience with manual testing of Salesforce Service Cloud integrations with back office systems like SAP that leverage Mulesoft middleware.
