Replenishment Planner

SummaryThe Replenishment Planner is responsible for developing a material delivery plan that ensures uninterrupted supply to support operations and/or customer. The material delivery plan optimizes our inventory investment, and execution of the material delivery plan is closely monitored and managed to proactively address outliers.   The Replenishment Planner reports directly to the Sr. Supply Planning Manager.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:

  • Develop and optimize a material delivery plan that balances operations and inventory turns while maximizing customer order fill rate.
  • Manage supplier delivery performance to minimize variability between expected and actual delivery.
  • Ensure raw material delivery and inventory plans support production needs with no interruption.
  • Establish and implement analysis of sales forecast against actual sales to identify and address variability that will influence future inventory and fill rate performance.
  • Monitor customer on time / in full delivery performance and mitigate key drivers impacting performance.
  • Manage supplier performance to deliver industry leading product lead times and inventory turns.
  • Enhance supplier development by communicating performance standards, developing improvement initiatives and actively soliciting and providing formal feedback.
  • Collaborate with supporting functions to ensure plans are realized:  Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, Inventory Control, Engineering, and Finance.
  • Support new product planning process to ensure material planning needs are incorporated and executed.
  • Translate future production and purchasing plans into inventory investment projections that meet our inventory turns goals and ensure plans are executed.
  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements within our supply chain, both physical and transactional.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field required.
  • At least 3 years of supply chain experience required. 
  • Experience directly engaging with and managing suppliers.
  • Experience working in a global supply chain environment managing replenishment and suppliers based internationally & domestically (US, Asia, Europe).
  • Demonstrated success at problem solving, decision making, and managing ambiguity within a business environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Planning and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask required.
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems. Experience with SAP a positive.  Planning using SAP S4 HANA and IBP preferred. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required.
  • APICS CPIM certification preferred.
