Summary

A Global Logistics Analyst Freight is responsible for audit of the freight invoice and freight claim processes. A global Logistics Analyst Freight will work to automate current paper processes to develop databases for freight invoices and freight claims. Through use of database management, reporting, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs), the International Logistics Analyst will recommend strategic projects to support and enhance Weber Global Supply Chain and its customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 

  • Audit freight payment process for accuracy and timeliness through current freight payment systems (EDI invoices and paper invoices)
  • Update and provide statement of account information on all carriers.
  • Investigates and documents all claim activities from notification through final disposition and settlement, including root cause analysis, subrogation, and salvage
  • Confer with Management, other supply chain teams, and other Weber departments to lead Supply Chain/Cross- functional projects with needed cost and performance data
  • Freight Payables – Works with transportation and operations departments to resolve invoice issues and Audit freight bills against freight manifest
  • Communication with carriers for missing invoices and other pending processes

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • College Degree and/or prior experience in Logistics
  • Experience with SAP
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

 

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
