Role Overview:
Weber Blackstone's finance team is seeking a Commercial Financial Analyst to supports the U.S. Commercial Finance organization with a strong focus on execution, reporting, and foundational analysis. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Commercial Finance, this role is responsible for creating, refreshing, and maintaining recurring and ad-hoc financial reports that support customer, product, and SG&A decision-making.
This position is well-suited for an early-career finance professional who is highly analytical, Excel-proficient, inquisitive by nature, and resourceful when navigating data, systems, and ambiguity. The Analyst partners closely with the Senior Manager, who provides strategic direction, oversight, and final interpretation of insights. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in Weber's headquarters in Palatine, IL.
Core Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis (Execution Focus)
- Own the execution and refresh of daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc Commercial Finance reports
- Maintain standard reporting packages used by Commercial Finance leadership and cross-functional partners
- Support customer, channel, and product-level profitability analysis with review and guidance from the Senior Manager
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all recurring deliverables
- Assist in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, escalating findings to the Senior Manager for interpretation and action
- Support the Senior Manager in partnering with Sales and Marketing on pricing, promotions, trade spend, and customer incentive programs
- Prepare analytical support for pricing actions, promotional plans, and trade investment effectiveness reviews
SG&A Budget Management (Tracking & Visibility)
- Track and manage SG&A budgets for U.S. brands, including Weber and Blackstone
- Support monthly close activities related to operating expenses, including variance analysis versus plan and prior year
- Partner with functional budget owners to understand spending drivers and improve forecast accuracy
- Prepare clear, well-structured budget summaries for Senior Manager review
Process & Systems Support
- Execute data pulls and reconciliations from ERP systems, reporting tools, and Excel-based models
- Maintain and improve Excel templates and reporting files used by the Commercial Finance team
- Support process improvements that increase efficiency, repeatability, and data reliability
- Learn and ramp quickly into new systems and data sources as business needs evolve
Business Partnership & Development
- Partner closely with the Senior Manager on customer reviews, profitability assessments, and commercial analyses
- Respond to ad-hoc analytical requests with speed, accuracy, and sound judgment
- Develop the ability to translate data into clear insights, while relying on Senior Manager guidance for broader business context
- Ask thoughtful questions and demonstrate curiosity around the “why” behind performance
Qualifications & Experience:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in finance, FP&A, commercial finance, or analytical roles (including internships)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and comfort with large datasets
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage recurring deliverables on tight timelines
Preferred
- Experience supporting budgets, forecasts, or management reporting
- Exposure to customer, pricing, margin, or product profitability analysis
- Experience working with ERP systems or BI/reporting tools

Salary Range: $63,920- $72,080
