Systems Engineer
Summary: Provides systems engineering support for assigned product development projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned.
- Focus on how to execute, integrate, and validate electromechanical systems with the goal of hitting all performance specifications over changing mechanical parts, software, and product life cycles.
- Maintain and update the field of prototype products.
- Play key role in specification, testing validation and execution of new software updates.
- Provide intermediary engineering support for all aspects of the new product development.
- Differentiate/ identify electromechanical system failure modes.
- Support non-NPD initiatives including the resolution of quality issues and productivity.
- Hands on worker.
- Cross functional communication skills.
- Understanding of electromechanical interactions.
- Leadership, oversee the availability of technical resources.
- Defining, testing and maintaining of software and software specifications.
- Knowledge of systems engineering tools.
Education and/or Experience
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience is typical for this role.
- Demonstrated design and analytic skills
- Degreed engineer, BSME, BSEE, BSIE preferred
