Summary:
The Direct to Consumer e-Commerce Manager develops strategies and leads execution to help grow Weber's direct to consumer businesses in the Americas. You will oversee growth for products and engaging experiences and focus on site merchandising, promotion planning and content development and optimization, with the goal of delivering an excellent user experience for Weber.com and app. Working with the US & Global Marketing teams and agency partners on creative development and inbound channel management, you will oversee product detail, listing, collection and brand/campaign pages, and menu, navigation and site and app search to increase traffic, conversion, average order value and encourage repeat purchases and sessions.
Responsibilites:
- Lead product assortment, promotion, content, SEO and merchandising strategy for assigned products, with the goal of delivering an excellent user experience meeting Weber's goals.
- Produce a rolling 12-month calendar, partnering with the US Marketing team to plan across inbound channels, including paid search, email and social. Ensure users experience the Weber brand in a memorable way across multiple digital touchpoints.
- Write creative briefs for our teams and agencies and manage delivery of digital assets (images, video, copy) for product detail, listing, collection and brand/campaign pages to support user journeys, new product launches and brand and promotional campaigns. Approve all assets and work with Associate Manager, DTC on go live execution.
- Analyze site and performance to identify relevant insights and build plans to improve increased traffic, increase conversion, increase average order value and grow attachment rates and units per transaction.
- Develop A/B test plan for content optimization. Recommend UX optimizations and work with Global UX team to measure results and apply UX best practices. Make recommendations to Global UX and IT teams for new features and tech integrations.
- Provide DTC Analyst with input on new product and monthly forecasts and partner with the Strategy & Operations Manager to maintain stock levels to support item availability, new product launches, promotions, transitions of discontinued items.
- Help develop business cases for improvements and new ideas in direct to consumer and e-commerce operations, fulfillment, delivery and return offerings.
- Synchronize direct-to-consumer (DTC marketing and sales initiatives with the mobile app when relevant. Collaborate with the creative team to develop tailored assets for the app, aiming to drive traffic and sales from the app to weber.com.
- Leverage MarTech tools to design targeted consumer journeys on weber.com, aimed at boosting traffic and conversion rates. Collaborate with marketing channel leads to ensure these journeys are cohesive and seamless.
- Provide insights and recommendations to inform the moible app roadmap, ensuring better alignment between the website and the app.

- Work with Marketing & Consumer Care teams to use Weber.com and app to increase opt-ins and product registrations and measure and manage consumer lifetime value.
- Create and communicate weekly and monthly performance scorecards. Example Measurements: revenue, product mix, conversion rate, average order value, units per transaction, attachment rate, new vs. repeat purchases
- Scan consumer, brand, retail, technology, and environment for DTC progress and best practices and provide team quarterly updates and recommendations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of e-commerce marketing and merchandising experience on a direct to consumer business with a brand or retailer, with 2+ years directly managing an e-commerce storefront using Salesforce, Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce or similar
- Proficient in Google Analytics
- Experience with a Customer Data Platform such as Twilio Segment, Salesforce Data Cloud, or Treasure Data CDP.
- Experience with A/B testing such as Optimizely or Google Optimize
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or another related field
- Knowledge of digital technology landscape and tools
- Analysis, planning and financial experience
- Passion for the constant evolution of e-commerce and how consumers are finding new ways to engage with brands
- Enthusiastic and hands-on business approach
