Do you love digging into data to answer strategic business questions? Do you have a passion for understanding what a brand stands for, how it can come to life for consumers, and how to protect against competitive threats? The Consumer Insights team at Weber is looking for an Analyst to join their team of dynamic individuals who represent the ‘voice of the consumer’. As part of a global marketing team, you will bring to life what consumers want from Weber and assess competitive threats from the US to Australia – and a range of countries in between. The Consumer Insights Analyst will oversee the global brand health tracking study and ad/communication testing as well as support projects related to the consumer journey, path to purchase, and other ad hoc market research projects. In this highly visible position, the Analyst will work with all levels of the organization – from brand managers to the senior leadership team. The Analyst will work closely with marketing and sales teams as well as external vendors to develop learning plans, execute research, uncover insights, and drive action. The individual must possess an ability to deliver actionable results and an interest in being ‘hands on’ in the data.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support senior researchers in managing all aspects of primary research projects including global brand equity, habits and practices, and ad testing studies. Work with external vendors to manage survey/field/reporting.
  • Mine data from custom research studies to address ad hoc business issues. Pull and analyze data, prepare analyses and recommendations and present to internal stakeholders.
  • Write, program, and test DIY surveys. Analyze results generated from such research and synthesize insights.
  • Create research reports complete with relevant analysis and actionable insights to meet business objectives. Effectively communicate and interpret results to colleagues and senior management.
  • Analyze and tie together data from multiple studies sets and prepare succinct, actionable insights.
  • Gather and summarize industry information and competitive product announcements.
  • Up to 5% travel, domestic and international.



  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree in related discipline a plus. Candidates with backgrounds in market research, marketing analytics, statistics, or marketing will be considered.
  • Candidate will ideally have 3-5 years of experience in quantitative consumer insights/market research for a consumer products company or research supplier. Global experience or durables background a plus.
  • Solid understanding of quantitative research methodologies and suppliers with a broad range of research techniques. Experience with brand health, habits & practices/A&Us, and/or ad testing.
  • Experience managing projects and vendors and delivering projects on time and accurately.
  • Highly competent with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of and experience with qualitative research a plus, as are the following: Q, Qualtrics, Alida, and market data sources such as NPD, GfK Traqline, Nielsen, and/or IRI.
