Job Title: Americas Director of Brand E-commerce

Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Americas Director of Brand E-commerce. This position is pivotal in driving the growth and success of our brand's online presence, focusing on e-commerce strategies, digital marketing initiatives, and customer experience and engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership skills to lead our brand's e-commerce efforts to new heights.  This role is expected to be a strong change agent, helping to further elevate the brand’s flagship experience and long-term consumer value. 

Responsibilities:

  1. E-commerce Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies aligned with the brand's overall objectives. Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  2. Online Store Management: Oversee the operation and optimization of the brand's online store(s), ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including agency partners, IT, marketing, and sales to enhance website functionality, user interface, and overall performance.
  3. Digital Marketing Campaigns: Partner with the Performance Marketing team on the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic, conversion, and revenue on e-commerce platforms. Work closely with the Integrated Marketing team to drive a mix of SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and other digital channels to maximize brand visibility and customer acquisition.
  4. Product Merchandising and Pricing: Work closely with product management, merchandising and sales teams to develop effective merchandising strategies and pricing tactics for online products. Optimize product listings, descriptions, and visuals to enhance product discoverability and appeal.
  5. Customer Experience Enhancement: Champion a consumer-centric approach to e-commerce, continuously seeking ways to improve the online brand and shopping experience. Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and satisfaction metrics to identify areas for enhancement and implement solutions accordingly.
  6. Data Analysis and Performance Tracking: Utilize analytics tools and data-driven insights to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to e-commerce sales, conversion rates, consumer retention, and other relevant metrics. Develop regular reports and dashboards to assess performance and inform strategic decision-making.
  7. Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing e-commerce team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment conducive to creativity and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, e-commerce, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in e-commerce management, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and tools, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience in team management, coaching, and talent development.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving growth and innovation in e-commerce.
