As barriers arise you will steer the team through critical real-time decisions which fulfill the plan’s intent while respecting our shared safety and quality expectations.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include and not limited to:

  • Developing a safety culture where employees’ wellbeing is valued, respected, and prioritized
  • Upholding the quality standards which earned Weber the reputation for best-in-class product reliability
  • Efficiently managing people and machine requirements to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
  • Applying lean six sigma methodology to deliver consistent incremental improvements
  • Coaching cell leads to uphold Weber’s values, culture, and performance expectations
  • Execute production plans while collaborating with support functions to ensure organizational alignment

 

WORK HOURS & BENEFITS

  • Work schedule will vary by department and shift
  • Exposure across wide-range of manufacturing processes including fabrication, enameling, assembly, packaging, shipping, and receiving

 

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Firm understanding and demonstrated ability to apply lean manufacturing concepts
  • Provide meaningful performance feedback which enables employee growth
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Preferred: English and Spanish bilingual

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in business or engineering from four-year college or university
  • Three or more years related experience
  • SAP (or equivalent MRP/ERP system)
  • Preferred: Three or more years production supervisor experience
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in business administration
  • Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Certification
