Summary

Safely and efficiently spot trailers on the lot or at the dock door.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Moving trailers between pads, doors and buildings on a timely basis.
  • Sliding tandems to meet state bridge laws.
  • Chocking trailers safely.
  • Inspecting spotter tractors, basic maintenance, fueling, reporting equipment problems.
  • Performing lot and door checks for trailer and purchase order accuracy.
  • On an as needed basis or as required, spotters will support the operations inside the Distribution Center including but not limited to: operating industrial equipment, picking, receiving, shipping, wrapping, labeling, and any other duties as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Other Skills and Abilities

Trucking experience and CDL is preferred.
