Join the Weber team and our iconic grill innovation in Chicago’s backyard. We desire an experienced manager who will lead our Quality Laboratory team in Huntley, Illinois.

To be successful you must lead the team as they play a vital role supporting both existing product manufacturing and new product development. You will find yourself managing the team’s daily execution, collaborating on new product development, and growing the lab’s capabilities on pace with our product innovation. Your team’s rigorous testing and validation will ensure our products continue delighting grillers the world over.



Responsibilities include and not limited to:

  • Developing a safety culture where employees’ wellbeing is valued, respected, and prioritized
  • Upholding the quality standards which earned Weber the reputation for best-in-class product reliability
  • Improving testing and validation methodology to align with new product innovation
  • Efficiently managing people and laboratory capacity to ensure timely testing execution
  • Applying lean six sigma methodology to deliver consistent incremental improvements
  • Ensuring laboratory capabilities meet or exceed industry standards and benchmark facilities



  • Work schedule is during daytime working hours (specific schedule to be agreed upon)
  • Engagement with product innovation teams and new product development activities
  • Exposure across wide-range of manufacturing processes including fabrication, enameling, & assembly



  • Provide meaningful performance feedback which enables employee growth
  • Strong project management capabilities and proven approach to balancing priorities
  • Sound understanding of Six Sigma methodology and real-world application
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders



  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in engineering from four-year college or university
  • Seven or more years related experience
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in engineering or related field
  • Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Preferred: Experience deploying National Instruments LabVIEW solutions or similar
