Summary:

Responsible for keeping the powder booths clean and maintain the proper powder levels.  Responsible to cover for other operators of powder booth when someone is absent.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Keeps powder levels up by bringing barrels in for filling hoppers.

  •    Cleans powder booths, filters and magnets (Preventative maintenance on machines and handles simple repairs not done by the maintenance staff.

  •   Orders parts, supplies and hooks as needed.

  • Communicates with all levels of employees in all departments (manufacturing, quality, maintenance, etc.).

  • Monitors quality of production by self-check, successive checks and comparison to quality standards.

  •   Works with Maintenance department on problems with Air-Conditioner, Compressor Air, and Powder Booths.

  • Completes SPC charts.

  • Maintains Quality Control for employees in area.

  • Active with troubleshooting and continual improvement of the process.

 

Requirements:

  •  Continual movement and lifting of weights to 50 pounds.

  •  Adherence to all Safety requirements and Personal Protective Equipment.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in the team setting environment.

  •  Maintain proper housekeeping.

  • Use of chemicals, some of which give off an odor.

  • Required to wear Personal protective equipment.
