How will you impact the team-

 

As an Independent Operator in the Millroom, you will Mix and prepare liquid enamels with Oxides and Frits; support the Millroom technician in all operations.

 

What will you do-

 

  • Attends all Tier 1 meetings
  • Monitor and adjust weekly inventory of all materials – order material as necessary.
  • Schedule production for all booths on assigned shift
  • Assist with job assignments in Transfer room
  • Fills in for shortages with application specialist
  • Participates in all PM activities (Tri-Weekly and Annually, or as scheduled)
  • Receive material and maintains material inventory and organization
  • Performs maintenance on all equipment in transfer room
  • Monitor all enamel quality from the starting point with the transfer or application specialist
  • Adhere and models company safety culture, rules, and accountability
  • Timely communication, reporting, and escalations of production progress and issues
  • Ensures proper tooling alignment in the furnace tooling
  • Process all paperwork for rework parts but runs during their shift
  • Performs daily checked to ensure that all transfer tools are in proper usage order
  • Constant communication with all enamel Technicians, IO and Inspection for quality performance
  • Helps new and existing employees
  • Maintaining housekeeping, 5s and other duties as assigned

 

Tools needed to thrive-

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent or 1-2 years of Manufacturing Experience
  • Must be able to pass a Forklift evaluation along with a written exam 
  • Ability to work Independently
  • Excellent Communication Skill
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and write in English
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Be a Team Player
  • Attention to Detail
  • Time Management
