How will you impact the team-


 As a Cell team Leader, you will be responsible for directing warehouse employees in department, including adherence to work schedule and assignment; employee training; evaluating staffing requirements, administrating safety, communication, teambuilding, efficiency discipline, vacation scheduling, etc.


What will you do-


  • Develop a strong working relationship with the warehouse team at all levels to ensure timely and consistent communication and understanding of both floor issues.
  • Ability to handle responsibilities effectively and interface with internal and external customers.
  • Direct the development and implementation of activities in warehouse areas to meet goals, quality and cost objectives.
  • Keep management team informed of all pertinent information and developments.
  • Responsible for ensuring all employees adhere to Company policies, practices and safety guidelines
  • Ability to adjust to the changing needs of a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Maintains quality of the warehouse processes at all stages of a products life cycle in the global distribution center
  • Inspects all orders for quality on the shipping dock
    • Ensures all loads are damage free
    • Verifies all counts
    • Takes pictures of all loads
    • Signs off those loads are accurate
    • Monitors loading process to ensure product is loaded by following the standard work instruction
    • Ability to count grills and accessories on each order
    • Monitors and coaches team members
  • Monitors and coaches team members during the picking and put away process
  • Proficient in the SAP processes related to the GDC
  • Monitors inventory and bin accuracy
  • Initiate with management disciplinary action when warranted
  • Provide input for employee performance evaluations
  • Keep track of tools and equipment that are needed to pick/ship orders and ensure they are in good working order
  • Ensure all preventative maintenance is performed on all equipment and tools as required
  • Ensure orders are picked/shipped accurately
  • Ensure products are shipped on time
  • Active with troubleshooting and continual improvement of process
  • Foster employee empowerment and lean thinking
  • Recommend and distribute overtime per company policy
  • Generate and enforce rotation schedule.


Tools needed to thrive-

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 2-5 years’ experience in fast-paced warehouse environment.
  •  Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Ability to lead up to 10-15 people in a fast-paced manufacturing/office environment required.
  • Adhere to and enforce safety requirement
  • Responsible for communication with support groups as required for support
  • Must be able to read schedules, bill of materials and customer order forms
