How will you impact the team -
As an Inventory Associate you will review and investigate discrepancies found in locations daily, as well as perform cycle counts. Your communication skills will assist with speaking to all levels of team members from Managers to Plant Directors. You will communicate all findings and/or results of investigations to department manager and or supervisor, and department managers.
What will you do-
- Investigate inventory discrepancies
- Problem solving skills to identify and resolve inventory problems for the area responsible for in a timely manner
- Gathers and analyzes information
- Strong communication skills to report all findings of investigations to department manager and or Supervisor
- Complete daily cycle counts in a timely manner. Strives to increase productivity
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Looks for ways to improve inventory accuracy. Verbalized feedback to improve production performance
- Communicate findings and recommendations to department managers and or supervisors in a timely manner
- Investigate and report findings department managers
- Reports, why the negative inventory occurred
- Identifies what department will fix the negative inventory
- Works with departments in determining inventory
- Reviews and works with the inventory coordinator on the safety stock levels in areas
- Assist conduct dock sweeps
- Audit GDC Inbound and Outbound shipments
- Help create SWI (Standard Work Instructions)
- Report all discrepancies when material has been received
- Responsible for the non-inventory items such as office supplies that are needed
Tools needed to thrive-
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years related experience
- SAP experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel
- Ability to read and interpret documentation numbers
- Speak effectively with department Managers, Supervisors and/or Weber Employees of the organization
- Must have 2 -3 years’ experience with a forklift (sit down, stand up and high lift)
- Preferred: English and Spanish bilingual
