Weber LLC, Global Supply Chain
Leadership Development Program
Summary:
The Supply Chain & Operations Leadership Development Rotational Program at Weber provides you with the opportunity to rotate through four diverse roles within key areas of our Supply Chain & Operations organization over a two-year period. During each of the four assignments lasting six months each, participants will take on full-time responsibility of a functional role while also completing a strategic project to be identified and developed with leadership. You will get a holistic view of the organization through participation in development opportunities including on-the-job immersive responsibilities, strategic projects and initiatives, site tours, mentoring, exposure to supply chain executives, and networking events. The rotations may be based in Weber’s Palatine, IL Headquarters, Huntley, IL factory and distribution center, and/or Elgin, IL warehouse. Most rotations employ a hybrid office/work-from-home schedule. Program participants should anticipate finding a role at the conclusion of the program in the broader organization and be prepared to take on leadership roles at an accelerated rate.
What will your primary responsibilities be?
During each rotation, you will quickly get acclimated to departmental expectations and set goals with the team leader. Rotation options may include the following functional departments:

In addition, this team regularly communicates with vendors who provide us with materials and finished goods to ensure expectations are clear and being met.
Strategic Sourcing:

Their efforts include supplier selection, contract negotiation, project management and cross-functional coordination, supplier relationship building, and management.
Operations Leadership:
- This is where our grills and accessories are made and deployed for distribution to our customers. In this rotation, you will supervise direct line employees in one of our manufacturing or distribution center environments to ensure timely, efficient, and safe workload completion.
Global Logistics:
- Responsible for moving Weber products from into and out of our facilities globally. This includes a focus on our warehouse operations, customer logistics, and order fulfillment. Strategic thought goes into identifying modes of transporting materials and goods. Timely and in full product allocation to our customers is a crucial deliverable of this team.
Quality:
- Primary objective of this team is to ensure we have industry-leading quality as viewed through the eyes of the customer. This is accomplished via a metrics and analytical-driven approach with a focus on product, supplier, and manufacturing quality.
