Summary

The National Account A/R Administrator (Credit Analyst) will be responsible for overseeing the sizeable accounts receivable of one or more of Weber’s major national accounts. These customers often demand more of suppliers and can pose very unusual, costly problems; their compliance guides have more stringent requirements for doing business with them and they utilize more complex/sophisticated support systems which suppliers must access to either obtain or deliver information. National accounts are typically managed by a Weber Sales Vice-President or a Director of National Accounts. Problems that arise when selling these customers are often challenging and can require much tracking and compiling information for analysis.

Given the importance of a national account, required interaction with more senior managers and the complexity of problems, the National Account A/R Administrator must have an appropriate level of experience, be very familiar with Weber policies and procedures, have good business savvy and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the receivables to insure timely invoice payment of usually significant dollar receivables
  • Analyze deductions and reconcile the account; when policy conflict exists, initiate necessary internal review to prevent or minimize further disputes
  • Maintain excellent records of all verbal or written customer contact as well as related internal communications; document all unusual settlements in order to facilitate comparisons to future like settlements

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor or Associate Degree preferred, and/or a minimum of 5 years experience in A/R administration in a manufacturing environment
  • NACM classes, seminars and/or designations preferred
  • Prior experience working with well known national retailers preferred
  • Strong PC and Excel skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including fundamentals for creating excel spreadsheets
  • Proficient in SAP
