How will you impact the team-

 

As a Technician Mill Room, you will be responsible for mixes and preparation of Liquid Enamels with Oxides and Frits.

 

What will you do-

 

  • Monitors and adjusts weekly inventory of all materials – order material as necessary
  • Mixes Enamel through use of mixers, blenders and ball mills for preparation of wet spraying color applications
  • Ensures proper pickup and gravity are set to meet the highest quality standards
  • Ensures first pass of color match
  • Schedules production for all color booths
  • Participates in all PM activities (Tri-Weekly and Annually, or as scheduled)
  • Receives material and maintains material inventory and organization
  • Performs maintenance on all tanks, mixers, valves and air-driven tools
  • Keeps accurate records of mill cards, material usage and inventory weights
  • Continuously monitors all Enamel Quality from the starting point with the sprayers through the end of the required quantity of usage
  • Active with troubleshooting and continual improvement of the process
  • Orders supplies as needed
  • Maintaining housekeeping, 5s and other duties as assigned

Tools needed to thrive-

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years related experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documentation numbers
  • Hands on approach to problem resolution
  • Preferred: English and Spanish bilingual
  • Problem Solving
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees
  • Must be mechanically inclined to perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Adherence to all Safety requirements and Personal Protective Equipment.
